This 2-drop even count peyote stitch bracelet pattern is called "Bold Abstract", inspired by the freeform hippie/trippy fabric designs often seen in the late 1960s & early 1970s. I love the playful curves of the motif & I've chosen the bright, bold colors that are seen everywhere in French boutiques.
The bracelet is designed & hand-woven (by me) using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch, weaving nearly 2,400 small Japanese glass beads, 2 at a time. The resulting bracelet is supple, with a fabric-like drape. It measures 1.25" (3.2cm) wide & 7" (17.8cm) long, including the silver-tone tube slide clasp.
NOTE: All items are shipped from my studio in the south of France, so please allow 2 weeks to reach addresses outside France. I ship quickly -- often the same business day -- but have no control over the speed or efficiency of the postal services here or around the world.
