For beginners please see below in blue.
The 3 small sized Flexx Venus Flytraps up for sale are not necessarily the ones in the picture. The 3 small sized Flexx Venus Flytraps you will receive are about the size and condition of the ones in the picture. Flexx is a larger than average Venus Flytrap clone but not due ot making larger leaves nd traps but instead due normally having more leaves and traps than a typical Venus Flytrap does. All Flexx Venus Flyraps are genetically identical. The ones here are not full size. They are smaller than adult or large size but you will receive 3 of them.
The plants in the picture are in a 3 inch pot. These plants are hardened off and can be grown next to a sunny window. Humidity domes and year round warm weather are not necessary.

Venus Flytraps are not difficult to take care of but they do have some very specific growing requirements. Each order for one or more of my Venus Flytraps includes a detailed caresheet that is a full page long and includes a potting diagram on the back of it explaining how to take care of a Venus Flytrap. It is specifically designed for a beginner by an experienced grower who knows how to take care of Venus Flytraps. The caresheet is not a few short sentences that leaves someone new to growing Venus Flytraps with many unanswered questions about how to take care of these kinds of plants. The caresheet is detailed enough that if followed correctly you should not have any difficulty successfully growing a Venus Flytrap.
Over the years I have seen some very disturbing gimmicks for online sales of Venus Flytraps by vendors who do not specialize in carnivorous plants. Don't be fooled by other offers for Venus Flytraps that have them arrive in or with terrariums or humidity domes. These types of plants have strong light requirements and it is a myth that Venus Flytraps need high humidity. The truth is that Venus Flytrap setups with terrariums or humidity domes almost always cause these types of plants to eventually die. They need to be grown in open air with containers that allow air to get into their soil and there should be little to block or diffuse their lighting. The best and by far the safest setup for these kinds of plants is to place them in a pot in open air next to a sunny window or if your weather is warm enough outside. Terrariums and humidity domes are simply not safe!
Watch out for offers of Venus Flytrap kits that really just come with seeds. Often the seeds don't germinate and even if they do Venus Flytraps take at least 2 to 3 years from seed to reach a decent size. Unfortunately, there are many vendors online selling Venus Flytrap kits with seeds or little Venus Flytraps with humidity domes that often arrive dormant during Wintertime. These types of setups very rarely ever result in a live plant of decent size even several months after they were purchased.
It is much better for beginners to buy a larger healthy Venus Flytrap from a reputable vendor who specializes in Carnivorous Plants, provides extensive care information for beginners to be able to take care of these kind of plants correctly, and is not simply pushing a gimmick that will leave a beginner with a big disappointment from their first attempt to buy and grow these kind of plants.

Each 3 small sized Flexx Flytraps you purchase from me will receive a free 3 inch net pot, like the one pictured with the Flytraps. Net pots are the best kind of pots for Carnivorous Plants. This is because they have superb aeration for the roots. Each Flytrap will also come with a portion of Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss loosely packed, enough to fill your pot. I will also send a Caresheet with each order of 3 small Flytraps explaining how to take care of Flytraps.
Shipping Terms:
Each Flytrap will be shipped bareroot with some moistened Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss wrapped around their roots. I will disturb their roots as little as possible. If you live in North Carolina I will need to charge you 7% sales tax.
