The entire reel of privately filmed footage is devoted to an ice hockey game, we presume involving the Brown University Bears of Providence, Rhode Island. The cannister label reads, "Brown Photo Lab, Brown University, Providence, R.I." The subject/title portion of the label is partially torn, but the typewritten words "Brown" and "Nick" are still visible. Undated. No audio strip. Film length approximately 400 feet. Running time approximately 28-32 minutes. Condition: Film is in very good condition. No "vinegar syndrome" or odor detected. Comments: The Brown Bears men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Brown University. The Bears are a member of ECAC Hockey. They play at the Meehan Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island. The men's ice hockey team at Brown is one of the country's oldest programs, having played their first game in 1898.
