This is a faceless lady holding a parasol made of stiffened crochet. I see stiffened hats and baskets occasionally, but this is the first time I've had a figure. The style of this piece is Victorian but it is much newer than that. My best guess is that it is from the 1950s - 1960s when women were still doing a lot of handcrafts.

CONDITION: This figure is in very good to excellent condition - clean and free of damage.

BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our retirement community to live with her son. I'll be listing more of these over the next several weeks.

WHY BUY FROM WANDERING CREEK? I've been selling online for 24 years and guarantee that the information in my listings is accurate and that I will get your item in the mail very quickly. I accept returns for any reason but do not do partial refunds. #25652
