Carrots grow best in cool weather, and it's preferable to sow these in Spring, or late Summer for Fall harvesting. Make sure to prepare the soil beforehand, and plant them in a nice, sunny environment. To prevent splitting and maintain the round shape, carrots need to be kept moist.
