About US; Campbell Films is a small American family business dedicated to the preservation of rare, historical films. Started in 2007 by a father and son, team. They have worked tirelessly to digitize, compile and create truly rare and unique DVD's to share with the world. This Film was produced in the 60's shows the history of these mighty battleships from there launching to the wars they fought in up to the that time. This film is about the US Navy Battleship USS Missouri BB-63 and live aboard as she serves of the coast of Korea. Great shots of firing those BIG GUNS at the coast of Korea and of course live aboard the ship. Runtime 13:38 Min's 3rd Film; "Living and Working". A Navy film on a day of living aboard an Iowa-Class Battleship. Runtime 19:52 Min's 4th Film: "The Fleet that came to stay". This film shows the build up the fleet in the pacific. Starts off with of course, Battleships, and goes through the fleet as America builds up her war arsenal against Japan. It is almost un-comprehensible how big the US Navy got in 1944 and 1945. 5th film: "Battleship Newsreels". This a collection of newsreels about battleships. 1st. Animated short film on the Iowa Class Battleship. 2nd, BB-58 being tested out. 3rd, USS Iowa Joins the Navy. 4th, USS New Jersey is launched. 5th, Mighty Missouri is launched. 6th, BB-63 fire supports troops at Anzio. 7th, Japan surrenders on the USS Missouri BB-63. 8th, Navy Day in New York. 9th, Iowa-Class Battleships mothballed-The Zipper Fleet.10th, Missouri Blasts Korea. 11th, Wisconsin fires off the coast of Korea.
