This DVD is a US Air Force films of the amazing Flying Thunderbirds. If you have ever gone to a airshow and watched these guys fly, I think you would agree that their flying takes your breath away. Not only are they great pilots, but they are great ambassadors too. This is a small collection of different Jets used by the USAF Thunderbirds, which include the F-86, F-100, T-38, F4 Phantom and the F-16. We hope you'll enjoy. 1st film; "Supersonic Thunderbirds". This is a USAF film on the F-100 Super Sabre as a Thunderbird. Shows the crew and family as they spend time flying the F-100 and performing at airshows. Great piece of history. Runtime 14:04 Min's 2nd film;"F-86 Sabre". This is a short collection of the USAF footage on the F-86 in the early days of airshow precision flying. The F-86's do not have there traditional color Thunderbird trademark yet in this clip. We also included the F-86 shooting down Migs during the Korean War. Runtime 5:25 Min's3rd Film; "T-38 Talon Thunderbird". This is also called "USAF Now" and is a USAF film about our American History and patriotism. The Theme is that the USAF weaves this theme to show why the Thunderbirds are at airshows. Runtime 23:55 Min's 4th Film; "F-4 Phantom Thunderbird". In this film, The USAF uses the famous F-4 Phantom. The Phantom was not used very long as a Thunderbird and soon the F-16 took over because of its lighter weight and maneuverability. The Phantom was fast, but was also known as a "LEAD SLED". Although this film is short, it is RARE. Runtime 5:04 min's 5th Film; "F-16 Thunderbird". This also is a USAF film called "USAF Now 200" and was created in 1986. Great airshow footage of the F-16 Fighting Falcon as a Thunderbird. Lots of great flying action. Runtime 17:06 Min's 6th Film; "Thunderbirds Photos and Clips".This is a small collection of Photos and Clips on the Thunderbirds throughout the years assembled by us. Thought you might enjoy. Runtime 5:00 min's 7th FIlm; "1967 Paris Airshow". This a great piece of history of many different aircrafts throughout the world, plus the Thunderbirds are there.
