About US; Campbell Films is a small
American family business dedicated to the preservation of rare, historical
films. Started in 2007 by a father and son, team. They have worked tirelessly
to digitize, compile and create truly rare and unique DVD's to share with the
world. The son went to film school and father is a veteran with the historical
knowledge, so together they assembled the content of Campbell Films. Most
likely you'll find things you haven't seen before. You can also find our products in various mail

World air travel in the beginning was very rare. Pan Am introduced there 1st international routes to South America using Sikorsky flying boats. Because land runways were scarce in those days, Flying boats solved that issue because water was everywhere. In 1937, Pan Am expanded to the Pacific with the Martin M-130. The Pan Am clippers were critical to long range transportation and when the war broke out with Japan, The USN joined forces to implement the Clippers for War. 1st film: "Clippers at War Part 1". This film explains the history of the Pan Am clippers and the beginning team work with the Navy. Most of the footage is of the Sikorsky S-40 to the Martin M-130. Great piece of history. Runtime 22:20 2nd Film: "Clippers at War Part 2". Part 2 pickups after the Battle of Midway. Explains how the US Navy begins to cross train there people to coordinate with Pan Am's people. From the Martin M-130 to the Boeing 314, the War was on. This film is dedicated to the 200 Pan Am employees that gave there life during WW2. Runtime 23:00 m 3rd Film: "The Pacific Boils Over". A Victory at Sea film that is about the war that broke out with Japan. Runtime 26:23 m 4th Film; "Sikorsky and Martin Clippers". A rare collection of Sikorsky S40 and S-42 Clippers and the Martin M-130 China Clippers of the Sea. Plus the Martin Mars Flying Boat. 8:05 M 5th Film: "Boeing Clipper Stories". 2 short stories on 2 different rescues at sea. 1st, the Clipper (Boeing 314) "Queen of Bermuda" landing at sea was rescued by USCG Cutter Bibb. 2nd, the Clipper (Boeing 377) "Sovereign of the Skies" crash landed in the Pacific. All 31 people survived. Runtime 4:00 m 5th Film: "Clipper Newsreels. A collection of very rare film clips on Pan Am's Clippers over the years, such as famous Consolidated Commodore, a Noorduyn Norseman Seaplane lands in NY, the Douglas Dolphin, and the Spruce Goose. 9:22 m Thanks for Looking!!!
