A Golden Reading Adventure book.  The author is Anna Sewell.  The publisher is Golden Press Inc., New York, 1956.  Inside the front cover is a name.  Corners are worn and edges are scuffed.  There is a substance (maybe glue) stuck on the front of the book and back cover (see picture). The measurements are approximately 1/4" thick, 6" wide, by 8 7/8" tall.
