This Postcard is an amazing time capsule that captures a time 3 years after Mt.Lassen had it's historic eruption in 1911. The explanation words on the front say; EXPLORING CRATER MT.LASSEN JUNE 2, 1914. 7 MILES FROM DRAKES BAD. It's not in perfect condition with some staining on its back and a tiny nib on it's top right. It's historically significant.
The image depicts 3 Men climbing into a steaming area of the Mountains crater. It's an interesting and incredible snapshot in time.
