Description

This is a chic two piece-look dress from the late early 1960's.
No size marked. Modern XS. Please check measurements given to best predict fit.
Vintage label: Jaymour by Seymour Jacobson
The fabric is a synthetic that somewhat resembles shantung. I think it is probably rayon.
Mocha brown.
This is a one-piece dress made to look like a pencil skirt with a cropped jacket.
Bateau neck.
Wrap effect with single covered button.
The waist fastens with a side sash and covered buckle.
Bust darts and long darts through torso to give a shapely fit.
Dolman three-quarter length sleeves.
Triangle gusset under arm.
Pencil skirt with waist darts.
Center back nylon zip (which leads me to believe 1960's for date. Would have been at home on the Mad Men set!)
The bodice is lined with matching chiffon.
The skirt is lined with silky, probably acetate.
Such a striking outfit!
In excellent vintage condition with no damage, no stains, no odors. Exceptionally nice.
Immaculately clean and ready to wear.
From a smoke-free home.
