This is the third and final volume published by Horizon / ADA Edita between 1977 and 1982. This is copy number 159 of 500 copies. The three volumes offer a display of Wright's work of extraordinary magnitude. Each volume, however, stands alone as a significant representation of Wright's work.
The volume is a 22" by 16" folio, weighing roughly 18 pounds. The near fine clamshell case is of terracotta cloth, and the plates are presented on archival papers, covered with a tissue overlay. There is no evidence that all plates have ever been examined. Some discoloration to edges of first 4 or 5 plates, otherwise, contents is near fine in a near fine cardboard slipcase (one corner bumped), no stains and

50 mounted color plates on heavy card stock, all wrapped in glassine wrapper and set into a heavy terracotta cloth covered clamshell with ivory latches. Housed in the original cardboard slipcase and then placed in publisher's original shipping carton - box dimensions: 23 1/2" H x 18"W).
This is the last volume produced in Tokyo of the three volume set. The first was published in 1977, the second in 1980. Each contains 50 color prints.

Frank Lloyd Wright was a highly influential American architect (1867-1959) whose mastery of space, form, and human-centered design revolutionized the field of architecture and earned him a place among the greatest thinkers and artists of the 20th century. Wright is best known for nature-harmonious edifices such as Fallingwater and the Guggenheim Museum.
