Vintage Lot of 2 Rosenthal Selb-Germany Winifred / Parbus Porcelain 7.75" Salad Plates

These lovely plates are decorated with a broad colored band along the edge - one plate has a blue band, and the other has a red band. Silver-gray flowers and scrolls adorn the colored band along each plate's edge.

Both are fully marked on the back.

Markings are as follows: (see pictures)

Rosenthal (Crown Mark), Selb-Germany, Winifred (2 dots beneath on red plate) - all in green.
Porzellan Malerei, PARBUS, Oberkotzau, Bavaria - all in red.

Per research it appears the plates are by Rosenthal, in the Winifred Shape, and the decorations were designed by Leni Parbus at Porzellanmalerei Leni Parbus, a small decorating studio at Oberkotzau, Bavaria, Germany. Leni opened her studio in 1904 and ran it successfully for 51 years until 1955.  I believe the backstamp would date these plates to the 1930s, though I could be wrong.

Good Vintage Condition ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, or flea bites. Center plate surfaces show little, to no, utensil marks/scratches. There are some scratches/rubs/wear to the decorations however.

Each measures 7 3/4" diameter.
