2 Piece Limoges Authentique Porcelaine du Lys Royal French Porcelain Boy on Fence Design by Gottschlich

Includes (1) Salad Plate & (1) Soup/Cereal Bowl

Transfer pattern features a little girl, (or possibly boy),  in a beret, climbing over a fence, while a small gray mouse looks on. From the expression on his face, perhaps she climbed the fence becasue she is scared of the mouse. Really cute design, signed Gottschlich.

In overall great condition ~ Soup/cereal bowl is in mint condition. Salad plate has a single flat chip on the BACK of the rim. Top view is near mint, with only a single light scratch.

Not sure about the maker of these. I have only found a couple of other pieces while researching them, and couldn't find any real information.

Each piece is marked on the back with the French Lily (Fleur de Lis) symbol, and the words "Limoges Authentique Porcelaine Lys Royal Coupe d'or Bon Gout Francais". This translates, per Google translator, "Authentic Limoges Porcelain Royal French Lily Cup of Good Taste Gold".

Salad plate measures 8 5/8" diameter.
Bowl measures 7 1/2" diameter.
