Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1960s James Bond 007 thriller, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, released in 1964 by United Artists and directed by Terence Young, in which James Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
The image features a close shot of Russian cipher clerk Tatiana (Daniele Bianchi) defecting to the West as she watches an attack against her companion. It comes from a newspaper archive and was actually used for display in a newspaper when the film was originally released in 1964 and includes a portion of the actual newpaper photograph affixed to the verso. It is in overall fine- condition as shown.
