This is a pretty little vintage ceramic trinket basket, with a floral design.  It is marked "Japan" on the bottom. Bone china. Probably from the 1980s.

In excellent condition with no chips or cracks or crazing.  Very little wear to the painted design.  There is one black "dot" on the back of the piece that seems to be under the glaze, so may be a blemish original to the item (see photos).

Size: 4 inches tall, 4 inches wide, 3 inches front-to-back.

This piece could be used as a trinket dish, key or ring dish, succulent or air plant holder, to hold sugar packets, or just a pretty piece of home decor.
