Necklace with a real polished stone pendant on a faux leather cord (waxed cotton), 18" in length.   The pendant is a polished carnelian gemstone crystal in a heart shape.

Carnelian is a lovely brownish red orange natural gemstone, which is slightly translucent so the pendant catches the light in interesting ways. 

In Ancient Egypt, carnelian was called the "Sunset Stone" due to the colors, and they believed it captured and reflected the heat of the sun as it set, channeling it into the wearer as a symbol for life, protection, wealth and wisdom.

This carnelian pendant is on a black, braided faux leather cord rope which is 18" in length, with a 2" extension chain and lobster claw clasp.

The necklace will come in a pretty organza bag for safe keeping.
