This is a 1980s enameled gold tone trinket box in the shape of a great horned owl.  The hinged lid has a magnetic closure.  It is brightly colored and decorated with sparkly blue and gold rhinestones.  Note, the interior is gold.

SIZE:  This box is about 2 3/4" tall.

BACKGROUND:  I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines and figural boxes from many different makers.  One of her collections was owls.  I'll be listing more things from this purchase over the next several weeks.
