This collection of songs looks at the history and nature of Black Heritage to Canada. Africville, the title song, was a Black town on the Seaview harbour in Halifax which existed from the 1840s to when it was torn down and the community living there dispersed with little regard and even smaller compensation. This record is dedicated to all of our people who believe in freedom.
