This is an adorable little vintage retro hand made picture of a Bunny Rabbit. It measures 4 inches by 6 inches. It is a raised relief, which means it has a 3-D effect. I'd almost describe it as a puff picture. The scene depicts a Bunny Rabbit watching a Bumblebee on a Dandelion. The Rabbit and the Dandelion are raised.

There is shellac over the entire picture and it is in nice shiny condition. The picture is a decoupage on a wood block, which is painted black. The picture is in shades of yellow, gold, green and brown. It may have been a postcard or greeting card at one time. There is an Artist's signature below the rabbit; I can only make out the first letters of the first name (Maur), the last name looks like Day. My guess is Maureen Day. It is in very good condition.

This would be a cute addition to any nursery wall. Especially for a child born in the Year of the Rabbit.

The back has an old can tab as the hanger and there is an address label from the original owner from Oklahoma. There is no date on this picture, but the pull tab for cans was not invented until 1962. My guess is this is from the 1960s or early 1970s.
