Maria was born in 1951. Working at the Fedoskino factory since 1970. This well established Fedoskino artist has made a name for herself with her unique style and distinctive color palette. She already has several original compositions in different Museums. Her distinctive style comes from combining bright, jewel tone colors of reds, blues, greens, aqua, and purple in one composition. Her characters have a look of peace and contentment, which we all aspire to achieve, and perhaps this could explain the popularity of her pieces. As a member of Union of Artists Maria Wagner has her personal sign.
This work, by Wagner, is her version of the Russian Fairytale "The Sultans' Kingdom".
She has combined colors and brush to produce a fantastic art piece.
Marie puts a collection of traders, shoppers and the Court, with the Ships in the Harbor, all bringing their merchandise
to the seaport. Having all the wooden structures in the background, almost like Viking times with the
dragon like heads on their wooden ships, a connection to "Vasilisa the Wise".
Her colors and technique match up to give an excellent work. Colors of blue, red, greenwith the leafs on the trees.
Flowers and vases on the ground. Trading on a large scale and people acting in the atmosphere of merchandise.
