DO NOT use PANTS or WAIST SIZE. They are NOT ACCURATE.

It is difficult to cut a custom belt without the person present. I add an inch or so to the size requested.

BELT 1/8" Thick, give or take, witch is a 8-9 OZ Leather Hide. Leather thickness is measured by weight of ONE SQUARE FOOT of Leather.

I suggest purchasing a rotary hole punch, you can always add a hole if needed. They are relatively inexpensive, You can not add on to the belt.
