Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the 1950's Quaker-themed drama/romance, FRIENDLY PERSUASION, released in 1956 by Allied Artists and directed by William Wyler. Based upon the book by Jessamyn West, the pacifist attitude of a Quaker family is tested as a result of the American Civil War.

The image depicts an exterior shot of Jess Birdwell (Gary Cooper) as he moves in close to kiss his wife, Eliza (Dorothy McGuire). The border artwork features a large portrait of Cooper as well. It is unrestored in fine condition with two sets of staple holes in the background areas and three in the bottom border; discoloration in the right border; random signs of wear along the top edge; and a 1 in. diagonal crease in the bottom border.
