Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American children's author, political cartoonist, illustrator, poet, animator, and filmmaker. He is known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss. He Died on Sept 24, 1991 in California.

Thousands of school children wrote to him on the news of his death.

Measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches unfolded, folds to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. 
Excellent condition. Two small pinholes at top and bottom center edge.1991 written on the back. Stored flat.  No rips, tears, or stains. From a smoke and pet-free home.
