This medication is indicated for the symptomatic treatment (pain and functional discomfort) with delayed effect of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. This drug is indicated as adjunctive treatment in certain gum diseases.

This medicine contains a combination of plant extracts.

It is used in the adjunctive treatment of periodontal disease (inflammation of the gums with loosening of the teeth) and in the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee or hip.

Active ingredients: Unsaponifiables from avocado oil, Unsaponifiables from soya oil
Excipients: Butylated hydroxytoluene, Erythrosine, Iron yellow oxide, Gelatine, Polysorbate 80, Colloidal anhydrous silica, Titanium dioxide

Fertility, pregnancy and lactation

The effect of this drug during pregnancy or lactation is not known. The assessment of the possible risk associated with its use is individual: ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice.

Directions for use and dosage of PIASCLEDINE

The capsules should be swallowed with a glass of water, in the middle of a meal.

Usual dose :

1 capsule per day.

Advice

In the treatment of osteoarthritis, the effect of this medication is slow to appear: relief generally appears only after 1 to 2 months of treatment.

The drug treatment does not dispense with measures to fight against possible excess weight. It is also recommended to practice an adapted physical activity to strengthen the muscles and maintain the mobility of the joint.

Periodontitis is often caused by poor oral hygiene, which encourages the formation of plaque and tartar: careful oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist are still necessary.
