Vintage Ceramic Dachshund 5x7" California? No ID

This great doggie has two baskets on his sides.  One is open and extends under the body of the dog and the other is shallow.  It is a vintage piece....but it would be a great place to put your cell phone and keys and change when you empty your pockets.  I am sure that it had a different purpose when it was made...way before the cell phone was even dreamed of.  This piece was hand painted and hand glazed.  Great for collectors or for dog lovers.   This looks perfect to me....Preloved.
