Antique Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) Photograph. Identified as Leonard A. Goodale, who is writing to his Aunt Kate and inviting her to visit him in Ilion, New York. In this lovely message written on the back of the photo postcard he announces his engagement (to Regina Knewassen) and poignantly states, "I feel unworthy of her." He graduated from Milford High School in Milford, New Hampshire in June, 1909. He was married to Regina Knewassen, of German ancestry from Pennsylvania, and had at least two children including LaVonne Goodale and Kenneth Goodale. The family was residing in Herkimer, New York during the 1920 US Census. The young couple was also known to reside in Ilion, New York.
