Offered is a funky mixed media abstract painting from an estate. Captioned on back Mating Dance of the Red Peckers by Moonlight No III Werner K Wettlaufer 1974. Wettlaufer was a mink farmer and Rochester NY artist whom passed away in Apr 2012 at the age of 92, see obit below. Good condition, on masonite, painting measures 17 3/4"w x 12"h. Frame has some dents, dings and chips but should touch up. It measures 19"w x 13 1/4". A nice find.
