Ball Ground Marble Company Extremely rare, bound original salesman's sample catalogue of marble monuments and gravestones. No date of publication but ~1907 based on the fact the latest grave marker is dated 1906 (many are from the 1800s). Photoengraved illustrations of one or more item on every page along with an item number (the book isn't paginated traditionally). I could not find a record of the Ball Ground Marble Company but that small city in Georgia is known for producing marble. Gilt-stamped brick cloth boards green wraps. 9.25" x 6.75". Unpaginated but ~200 pages. Printed on glossy paper (hard to photograph without reflections). Does have some condition issues and missing pages. |
