A naive and gifted girl from the countryside with a half-drunk and alcoholic father, Vassula, makes a gourmand in a Glyfada cabaret, where one of the usual Mutras exploits her. He once meets a student, Lefteris, who is wanted for the injury of a 6th Fleet sailor. A strong feeling bursts between them. Lefteris learns about Vassula's rights to life, but when she is arrested and imprisoned, Usma holds the girl in her hand again and continues to abuse her. Vassula pops it and goes to live with his mother. She tries to earn her bread honestly, but Mamas discovers it and forces her to sell her body again, until Vassula feels that the only redemption will come if she ever removes her strength. He kills her, and so she goes to prison.......
