Steve "Rabbit" Easter, musician extraordinaire, and the recipient of the 1997, 1998 and 1999 Singing News Fan Award "Musician of the Year," recently announced his plans as a solo artist, effective immediately. "Rabbit," who has remained at the forefront of Southern Gospel Music, performing with The Crabb Family since late 1998, plays steel guitar, banjo, dobro, guitar and bass. The decision to leave the group was made after considerable thought and prayer to enable Steve to spend more time with his family. His program will consist of singing and instrumentation. "Rabbit" is available for bookings for churches, concerts, bluegrass festivals and other venues.
