Here for your consideration is a RARE, VINTAGE FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE ALL PLASTIC RED-ORANGE BODIED DAD w/BLACK HEAT STAMPED HAIR.  Fisher Price primarily used their tall, red-orange bodied plastic bodies for their Native American and Scuba Diver LP.  This is a UNIQUE piece, either produced as a variation or a true WHOOPS.  Sometimes Fisher Price employees would use up excess stock and insert any overstocked pieces in lieu of the specified color for a LP in a given set.  This was to use up pieces that were being phased out or to transition to a new color combination.  These are called variations.  In addition, a long-time former FP employee told me that from 6:00-8:00 AM in the morning, the supervisors weren't as vigilent in monitoring the employees.  Some employees made novel combinations of these assorted pieces and the resulting LP are considered true WHOOPS.  I cannot tell for sure if this is a variation or a WHOOPS; however, it's inner plastic collar has not been modified or reglued so I believe it is a variation.  It is mentioned on www.thisoldtoys.com website as a known LP character but it is not identified with any of Fisher Price's vintage play sets.

As far as condition is concerned, this LP is in EXC++ condition.  He has a few light scratches on his head and across his eyebrows.  These are not pronounced.  I apologize for my photos.  I'm still trying to learn how to shoot single LP without having them come out too dark or with a flash mark on them.

I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this figure prior to sending him to his new owner.
