If you check the cast list on the second page, you'll find that KINGSLEY HAHN (that's ME, folks!) played the part of ROBERT KEN O'DUNC in this particular version of MACBIRD!  I had read a slightly different version of the play in the December 1966 issue of RAMPARTS MAGAZINE, and was definitely delighted to be cast as ROBERT KEN O'DUNC (based upon ROBERT F. KENNEDY) in the EASTSIDE THEATRE version of the play, in St. Paul, Minnesota (if I remember correctly, the Eastside production was only the FOURTH version of the play to have been produced up to that time).  MACBIRD! is a very bitter, biting, cynical satire about the presidential administrations of JOHN F. KENNEDY and LYNDON BAINES JOHNSON, and is written in a neo-Shakespearean mode, borrowing heavily from MACBETH, HAMLET, and JULIUS CAESAR.  The play was very well received by Twin Cities audiences, and was one of the more successful plays of the 1967 St. Paul-Minneapolis theatre season.
