An extremely rare pamphlet (in this first edition) reprinted from the January, 1898 quarterly of the Maine Historical Society. The pamphlet describes the history of John Chamberlain (1692 - 1756) who established a career as in Indian fighter during the New England Indian Wars, primarily against the Pigwacket (Pequawket) Indians of Maine and New Hampshire.
