Dinah Shore often had well-received cooking segments in her television talk and variety shows.

Ms. Shore was the first singer of the 1940s to receive huge solo success with a string of 80 charted popular hits. She furthered her career acting in a number of feature films and went on to a four-decade career in television,  starring in her own music and variety shows, and moved into hosting talk shows.

A few small stain spots to the outer upper page edges, faint rubbing to upper shelf-edges, else very good plus to near fine in fresh rose linen with gilt embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine; in a near fine dust jacket with tiny chips to the rear flap folds and very short tears to the upper shelf edges; original $19.95 price still intact to the front inner flap.
