Shown here is an antique cracker, biscuit, ginger or tobacco, custard milk glass jar. Hand painted and signed. This cylinder shaped jar measures about 5 1/2" in diameter and is 7" tall.  Without the lid the jar is about 4 1/4" tall. Around the outside circumference there is a beauitful array of blue roses with a splash of small orange flowers.  On the side near the base the jar is signed by artist "L. Richmond". I think the piece may be older Fenton, though I cannot find this artist listed among Fenton's glass artist.  This fragile piece of art glass is in very good condition without cracks, breaks, chips or paint loss. As with these older pieces there may be production flaws. The quality of the painted floral design is amazing. Any white spots or white spots are caused by the camera flash. Thanks for looking!
