This piece is of a heavily shellac, veneer, resin, (don't know the process that was applied over the wolf image.  There are a few indents and a scratch in the surface.  Those came from being moved in boxes when I moved from my antique store to my home.  

The plaque measures 13 1/4 inches tall x 10 5/8 inches wide.  3/8 inches thick.  

It was made to hang on the wall.  The metal hanger is on the back
