Pair of incredible Emile Belet (1840-1904)
design plates printed by E le Deley -Paris France around the turn of the last century.

Theses plates are number 22 & 5.

He entitled and intended these plates to be used for modern models and documents for porcelain, jewelry and applied arts.
They depict scenes and porcelain designs.

During the Art Nouveau period these fabulous and very rare sheets were used as examples of the best in interior, graphic, wallpaper and home design.

They are 12" x 15 5/8" Plate 5 has two very small and very light spots.  Plate 22 appears to have been professionally repaired and has a small tear out of the upper corner.

Emile Belet was a French Art Nouveau painter and designer, who was also a ceramist at the French national factory in Sèvres, known as France’s leading manufacturer of fine ceramics and porcelain.
