Offered for your consideration is this very lovely creation by Sally Huss.
I believe it is about 20 years old. Found at a mansion in affluent Greenwich, CT. This is one type of artists "production" that she would have the dark lines from the original art printed, and then she could paint on the print quickly and reproduce the original creation. 20 x 20 inches framed. Pencil signed at the
lower right.
It is in excellent condition. The artist, according to her informative and detailed website, is also known as an author of countless books (including many children's books) on countless subjects, and as a serious tennis player. A Los Angeles Times 1992 article viewable online discusses how her husband Marv, a former Hallmark executive, used his skills acquired there to promote Sally's artworks, using modern marketing strategies. At one point she had established a string of successful commercial galleries in Laguna Beach, Santa Monica and La Jolla, and twenty others across the country---even a few overseas, in Japan and Switzerland. The appeal of her art, often coupled with whimsical or folksy sayings, appears to be universal. Shipping methods: I found FedEx frame/artwork box is the best deal and protection for shipping artwork. The box costs $20 and is included in the shipping/handling charge. If you have a FedEx or UPS account and would prefer I use your own account, I am happy to drop off at any FedEx or UPS location at no extra charge once you give me your account number. Just check out as "local pick up"
Shipping Charge: Shipping included delivery confirmation and maybe insurance if final price over $50. Item over $250 includes signature confirmation. Combined Shipping: Additional item is no extra charge or actual increment of shipping cost if heavy items are combined. Shipping time: I usually ship on Saturdays. So for some, I ship very quick if paid on Friday, and for those who made payments on a Saturday afternoon after P.O.s close, the shipping handling time could be a week -- that's why I don't list anything on Fridays, so that you have at least 24 hours to pay and I have 24 hours to pack. If you need your treasure shipped right away during the week, I can make arrangements -- please email for options. Returns: There are enough pictures plus text description to present the item (in my opinion) and to observe genuine auction spirit, no returns accepted unless misrepresented. Please do not hesitate to email with questions if you feel more information is necessary.
