Offered for your consideration is this very nice original book of vintage botanical print, plate 126 with original description on back. Bears the name S Gower Del on the lower left corner and number 126 on upper right corner. Since the plant was collected in 1923, I believe the print was made shortly after. Likely it is from the periodic "The Flowering plants of South Africa" vol. 4: t. 126 (1924)
[Gower]. According Wiki species, this plate was published in 1924 as a heterotypic plant relate to Veltheimia capensis.
Veltheimia capensis (L.) DC. [as Veltheimia roodeae E.Phillips] [10469-1052252-282962]

The print may be removed from a book and the description page is on the back. Print size 6 X 9 inches. Frame size 18.5 X 15 inches. The frame has very nice burl wood veneer. Some light reflections on the glass may cause distractions, but there are no issues with either the print or frame as far as I can tell.

Combined

Shipping time: I usually ship on
Saturdays. So for some, I ship very quick if paid on Friday, and for those who
made payments on a Saturday afternoon after P.O.s close, the shipping handling
time could be a week -- that's why I don't list anything on Fridays, so that
you have at least 24 hours to pay and I have 24 hours to pack. If you need your
treasure shipped right away during the week, I can make arrangements -- please
email for options.
Returns: There are enough
pictures plus text description to present the item (in my opinion) and to
observe genuine auction spirit, no returns accepted unless misrepresented.

necessary
