What's up with the slow sales?

In the three weeks I’ve been here I haven’t made any sales yet in the same 3 weeks on both Ebay and Poshmark I’ve made close to 200. I thought Bonanza was ’ THE NEXT BIG THING ‘. who does this site’s marketing?

Since this site was sold it’s been going down hill.

You do your own marketing for Bonanza. Other than that nobody seems to market,or support the site any more. Not since it was sold.

If you are doing that well with those sites, why spend the time and/or $$$ elsewhere? Don’t fix what isn’t broken. Even if Bonanza was gangbusters you have to build a following which takes quite a while at any site. Having been playing this game since ‘98 with various sites it really isn’t anything different from them. I have been here thru I believe 2 other buyers and I will admit it has slowed quite a bit and the fact it is no longer free you really got to know how to drive sales to your booth. eBay has the traffic, always will, even with there insane fees and constant issues, but, playing with these lesser known sites is a definite challenge, can’t just list and disappear like many do. I will never blame any site if my items do not sell, as it is up to me to make the sales, they just provide the platform to utilize. But, to each their own.

I’m on here because I have close to $250,000 dollars worth of items to move and was hoping Bonanza was as good as I was told it was.

I’m going to give a small defense of Bonanza. Google has completely changed up their shopping algo and display to prefer larger online retailers this year. Sales were definitely much lower than they were at my peak here, but that could explain the complete fall off the cliff it has experienced this year. There are just too many much larger marketplaces that have taken off the last few years which eat up the top results in google shopping.
I agree with fantasticfinds though. You do have to promote yourself on sites like Bonanza. If you do that though, you’re really promoting the marketplace and not yourself. That’s not a bad thing, but be aware that you’ll be promoting every seller here good AND bad.

nobody promotes this site anymore. You have to do it yourself and even then there is no guarantees that you will get sales!!! Even after all these years people still have never of heard of this site. Good luck!
